In this Masterclass Sean will explain what makes Pinot Noir such a unique varietal, and why, just like Paul Giamatti's character in Sideways, it is described as "Thin skinned, temperamental and in need of constant care and attention."
In this masterclass, Sommelier Sean Price will take us on a journey through the diverse terroirs where Syrah thrives, from the sun-drenched vineyards of the Northern Rhône in France to the lush, rolling hills of Australia’s Barossa Valley. Along the way, you’ll discover the unique expressions of Syrah shaped by different climates, soils, and winemaking traditions.

Our blind tasting workshop is designed not to demonstrate how hard it is to taste wines blindly, but to give you the tools to become a more conscientious wine taster/drinker. We will learn to identify signs that can help us determine whether the wine's origin (new world vs old world), is it from a cool climate or warm climate, is it young or aged and much more.
In this masterclass we will focus our attention on one of the most misunderstood, and possibly underappreciated wines, the German Riesling.
