If you ever had a truffle (black or white) you know that there is something magical about them. So much so, that ancient Romans thought they are created when lightning strikes the damp forest soil. And while we now know that these tubers are formed underground in the wild forests of Italy and France (sometimes overnight!) their magic is still very real.
These rare nuggets are nearly impossible to farm, and as such come at a hefty price. Black truffles cost upwards of $1,000 a pound, and white truffles reach heights of over $2,500 a pound.
So join us as we celebrate these incredible tubers, in a dinner all about truffles. Executive Chef Jason Ramos has created a menu that will make your mouth water, and your taste buds dance.
