Phinney has racked up a truly amazing reputation with his Orin Swift Wines (now owned by Gallo) and the Department 66 wines, with  dozens of wines in the high 95+ point range. When David is jetting around the world managing his various projects, Richard is the man behind the scenes helping to make the magic in the cellars and vineyards.

Richard is on the east coast for just one day as he makes his way from France to California, and we are happy to host him for an exclusive tasting where he will be on hand to tell the story of how he and his wife staked their future on what became Domaine de la Pertuisane and eventually joined Dave Phinney in starting Department 66. While sampling some of their current releases, Richard will be available to answer questions and guide guests through the wine selection.
