Italian Wine Dinner Series – A Taste of Piedmont – Friday 6.10.16

Join us for the second of our Italian themed wine dinners as we explore the cuisine and wines of Piedmont. Located in the northwest of Italy, Piedmont is perhaps best known for its Alba truffles and age worthy Barolos, yet it also produces lovely crisp whites and a host of affordable, ready to drink reds. We’ll taste a selection of Wine Director Brian Hider and Chris Cree’s (the newest member of the wine team and one of only 38 Masters of Wine in the country) favorite Piedmont wines, paired with a menu created by Executive Chef Andrew Lattanzio to showcase the wines. Brian and Chris will present each wine and provide background information, as well as answer any questions about the wines during the dinner. In addition, all of the wines featured will be available for purchase on-site or through our newly launched website at PluckyWineShop.com.
