A brand new event at Pluckemin Inn. Sommelier Brian Hider, Executive Chef Juan Jose Cuevas and Pastry Chef Joseph Gabriel teamed up for a 3-course dinner followed by a walkaround tasting of delectable desserts and sweet wines to complement them. Everything about this event was SWEET!

Torres Wine Dinner
Pluckemin Inn guests had another incredible opportunity to sample one of the world's most distinguished wine producers. Sommelier Brian Hider hand-picked some of the finest offerings from the Torres family, and our culinary team created a five-course menu to delight the senses. The event was a huge success, and was sold out early.

Guests got to give the mothers in their lives a day to treasure! They enjoyed an afternoon of food, family and fun and made the moms in their lives proud. Seatings were open from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The American Cheese industry has evolved into a series of sophisticated producers, but some still argue that European cheeses still rule. During this unique event, guests sampled several cheeses side by side, and paired every course perfectly with wines from pluckemininnwineshop.com.

Valentine's Weekend

Steak Tasting Dinner
If you love steak and red wine, then this was the dinner for you! We sampled several steaks, and compared key culinary differences, such as:
Dry aged vs. Wet aged
American Wagyu vs. Australian Wagyu
Grass fed vs. Corn fed
We were joined by Marc Sarrazin of DeBragga, New York's Butcher, who explained the various preparations and outlined the differences in feeds and aging. It was quite an evening. Look for another one coming soon!
